I'm New

Welcome to the Meadow!  If you're considering joining us for worship this Sunday, here are a short list of answered questions we hope will give you an idea of what to expect as you plan your visit.

What are your service times?

Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30.  This is followed by a time of fellowship, coffee, and conversation.  Our worship serivice begins at 11:00 in the sanctuary.

What Bible studies and classes are available?

We offer an array of Bible classes for children, youth, and adults, some of which meet on Sunday mornings and others during the week.  For more information please contact Bible Study Coordinator, Isaac Parks.

Is there childcare available?

Nursery care is available for children 0-3 years old from 9:30-10:30 during our Sunday morning Bible classes.  Classes for older children, teens, and adults are also held at this time.  If this is your first time joining us please feel free to arrive 5-10 minutes early in order to meet teachers and locate the right classrooms.

Please note:  there is no nursery care or children's church during the main worship service, as we encourage families to worship and learn together.  We know that this transition can be difficult for little ones, and so we always provide a livestream of the serivce to both the youth room and nursery in order to offer a comfortable space for nursing mothers and restless children.

What should I wear?

FMBC is a mountain church located in a rural area, and our members come from all walks of life, so if you join us you will see a range of attire from slacks and dress shirts to jeans and work boots.  People are encouraged to wear what is comfortable and appropriate for them and for the weather.

What is the all-church potluck?

Our weekly potluck lunch is open to all, visitors and members alike.  It begins Sunday at 12:30 immediately following the worship service.  Please join us!  We'd love to share a meal and get to know you better.
